The Birds Eye Chili/Bird Chili/Kanthari Chili/Thai Chili is a type of chili pepper that is quite common in Southeast Asia. Thai, Khmer, Lao, Vietnamese and Indonesian cuisines mostly use this type of pepper. Kanthari fruit is found mainly in plant species belonging to the Capsicum Frutescence family. The medicinal properties of Kanthari have had it incorporated into Ayurveda; India’s set of traditional medicine practices.
